Situated near Whittington to the east of Cheltenham – this is currently worked as an open quarry producing Cotswold stone products. Stone from here has been recently used in the restoration of the following buildings:
St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, Eton College, Hampton Court Palace, Truro Cathedral, Icomb Manor, The Royal Observatory, Oxford, Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Worcester and St Johns Colleges, Oxford, Cirencester Town Hall, Cheltenham Ladies College
