Located on Bathampton Down this is a short quarry – a low tunnel divides into two passages, ending in a complex and confusing maze of workings and probably originally part of the adjacent Seven Sisters Mine sealed in 1962 by members of the 204 Field Squadron R. E. (T.A.) using explosives.
There were several other entrances but these are all blocked.
