Also originally known as South Farleigh Quarry and worked by the Bath Stone Firms Ltd. The row of houses on the road east of the quarry location are known as Dapstone. There was originally an inclined roadway into this quarry but no evidence can be found today. Horse and carts were used to remove the stone from here and early cranes were employed underground. There were some small quarries situated a few yards to the north and west of this entrance all known by the same name.
