Rocks Quarry

The Rocks estate consisted of a large house and several smaller buildings including stables. The house has since been demolished but the estate still remains as private houses.

There was a vertical shaft adjacent to The Old Hunting Lodge and an open quarry to the south of the track but no trace remains today. Futher north on the estate at Rocks East Woodland there was a larger open quarry
